MANTEO, N.C. (April 2008) -- The model home in the new Marshes Light residential community will be included in this year’s upcoming Roanoke Island House and Garden Tour in May.

The beautifully furnished Coors house, which was completed last year at 326 Fernando Street, is new to the Tour event which is Thursday, May 29th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Coors house is a quaint two-story, four-bedroom home designed in the Roanoke Island style of architecture. It’s fully furnished in a unique ‘coastal casual’ and nautical theme.

“We’re exited to have our Coors model home added to this year’s event which is an honor given the House and Garden Tour’s popularity,” said Lee Whitley, marketing and sales director of the waterfront development. “We hope the house and grounds will make a popular addition.”

This year’s House and Garden Tour will be punctuated with beautiful homes, spectacular gardens, engaging programs and a tea. All proceeds benefit The Elizabethan Gardens. Tickets for the Tour event are $25 and can be purchased by contacting The Elizabethan Gardens at 252-473-3324. For more information, visit
