Bailey's Fine Jewelry Opens New Store Location in Fayetteville
FAYETTEVILLE, NC (Aug. 19, 2010) – Bailey’s Fine Jewelry has opened its newest store location in Fayetteville at Cross Creek Mall.
The new store, which will be managed by well-known local jewelry store manager Samuel Spaulding, is the fourth Bailey’s Fine Jewelry store to open. A fifth location will be added in Raleigh at Crabtree Valley Mall later this year.
Founded in 1948 in Rocky Mount, Bailey’s is a family owned-and-operated jewelry business, with existing stores in Raleigh, Rocky Mount and Greenville. The Fayetteville location features many of the same jewelry lines and pieces, as well as many of the in-house personalized services that the existing stores provide, including custom design, gold, silver and platinum buying, watch and jewelry repair, and appraisals. The store also offers free gift-wrapping with purchase in the popular signature ‘Bailey Box.’
With its new location in Fayetteville, Bailey’s aims to expand its customer base and provide convenience for existing patrons in the Fayetteville area.
“We are excited to open our doors to the Fayetteville population and to present them with a familiar face in the Fayetteville jewelry business,” said Trey Bailey, director of operations.
Additionally, the new store will implement the Bailey’s Fine Jewelry philanthropy program, A Time to Give. Founded in 2008, A Time to Give is a unique watch battery replacement program designed to fulfill the needs of customers in a way that also serves the community. Bailey’s Fine Jewelry absorbs the cost of new watch batteries in exchange for a charity donation from patrons. Since its inception, A Time to Give has donated more than $75,000 back to local charities in communities that Bailey’s Fine Jewelry serves.

Rick Rountree Communications Celebrates 10th Anniversary
RALEIGH, NC (July 28, 2010) – Rick Rountree Communications is pleased to announce its 10-year anniversary as a successful public relations agency. In honor of this milestone, Rick Rountree Communications will be providing pro bono services for the Salvation Army of Wake County's Center of Hope capital campaign for the duration of 2010.
In May 2000, Rick Rountree launched the agency to provide a unique and effective approach to communications. The boutique public relations firm now serves a variety of clients, ranging from research-based companies to real estate development to retail businesses and restaurants in the quick-service industry. The firm specializes in media relations, public affairs, reputation management and crisis communications, and it was recently recognized with client Bailey's Fine Jewelry by the Raleigh Public Relations Society at the Sir Walter Raleigh Awards Banquet. The firm was presented a Silver Award for its excellence in communication.
“Over the past decade, we have been tremendously fortunate, blessed by loyal clients, wonderful colleagues and a great deal of luck,” said Rountree. "We look forward to continuing our work with our existing clients and to extending our services to other organizations in the community like the Salvation Army.”
The firm worked with the Salvation Army earlier this year on the campaign kickoff announcement of its proposed new facility on Capital Boulevard. Inspired by their mission and ministry, Rick Rountree Communications has offered to continue to publicize the $12 million fundraising campaign to build the facility, which will replace the Salvation Army's center in downtown Raleigh.
In addition to its pro bono services, Rick Rountree Communications has also updated its website, www.rickrountree.com, to reflect the milestone.
Rountree accumulated more than 25 years of professional experience with corporations, communications firms and the news media before launching the business. Since its inception, the firm has represented both local and national clients, including Boddie-Noell Enterprises, Bailey's Fine Jewelry, Baker Roofing, Baker Renewable Energy, AW North Carolina, SCYNEXIS, Restaurant Management Group, Pate Dawson Compnay and Lifestyle Property Solutions.
