RALEIGH, NC (July 28, 2010) – Rick Rountree Communications is pleased to announce its 10-year anniversary as a successful public relations agency. In honor of this milestone, Rick Rountree Communications will be providing pro bono services for the Salvation Army of Wake County's Center of Hope capital campaign for the duration of 2010.
In May 2000, Rick Rountree launched the agency to provide a unique and effective approach to communications. The boutique public relations firm now serves a variety of clients, ranging from research-based companies to real estate development to retail businesses and restaurants in the quick-service industry. The firm specializes in media relations, public affairs, reputation management and crisis communications, and it was recently recognized with client Bailey's Fine Jewelry by the Raleigh Public Relations Society at the Sir Walter Raleigh Awards Banquet. The firm was presented a Silver Award for its excellence in communication.

The firm worked with the Salvation Army earlier this year on the campaign kickoff announcement of its proposed new facility on Capital Boulevard. Inspired by their mission and ministry, Rick Rountree Communications has offered to continue to publicize the $12 million fundraising campaign to build the facility, which will replace the Salvation Army's center in downtown Raleigh.
