Hardee's Newest Location Opens in Franklinton

FRANKLINTON, N.C. (Dec. 20, 2010) – Residents here who are hungry for the taste of the Hardee’s® Black Angus beef Thickburger®, Hand-Breaded Chicken TendersTM, Made from Scratch BiscuitsTM or other delicious fare, will now be able to enjoy those offerings in a hometown setting.

Today a new Hardee’s restaurant opened at 3257 U.S. Highway 1, bringing the familiar Hardee’s menu to the community. The restaurant is operated by North Carolina-based Hardee’s franchisee Boddie-Noell Enterprises and represents the latest in the well-known Hardee’s name, both in appearance and the menu.

The new Hardee’s features a brightly colored, cheerful exterior and the latest Hardee’s retro 1950s décor with dining room seating for up to 50 customers.

“We’re extremely excited to be here in Franklinton with a brand new Hardee’s,” said Boddie-Noell Restaurant Division President Mike Boddie. “We’ve been looking at this area for a long time, see the growth taking place and are eager to become a part of the community.”

The new Hardee’s opened today at 6 a.m. for its launch but normal hours will be 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturdays. The local phone number is 494-1230.

This newest Hardee’s location brings the total number operated by Boddie-Noell to 337 Hardee’s across a four-state area. Rocky Mount-based Boddie-Noell is the largest Hardee’s franchise operator in the United States. The company’s first Hardee’s location was established in North Carolina more than 48 years ago.
