NORTON, Va. – Restaurant franchisee operator Restaurant Management Group (RMG) has selected Norton Little Caesars® Manager George Tate as its General Manager of the Year from among the company’s 23 Little Caesars restaurants in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia. Tate manages the Little Caesars at 660 Hwy. 58 in the Virginia-Kentucky Regional Shopping Center.
In addition to Tate earning the General Manager award, the Norton Little Caesars was also named a Signature of Excellence restaurant, one of only three Little Caesars locations that earned the award from the company for performance in 2008.
“George is a professional and he won this award through hard work and leading a good team,” said Jack Mangan, president of Restaurant Management Group. “George and his team do a great job and we are proud to have them be a part of RMG.”
Tate’s selection for the award was based on a number of factors including guest comments, financial controls and employee retention. The Signature of Excellence award was based on factors that include customer service, employee retention and overall operations excellence.
Tate has managed the store in Norton for nearly two years. Tate resides in Kingsport with his wife and five children and enjoys playing with his children in his free time.
